At Young Lions, your child begins their exciting journey towards a lifetime of being healthy, active and confident — alongside our friendly mascot, Larry the Lion!

Delivered by the expert coaches at The Fitzsimons Football Group, this specially designed 18-month programme is about so much more than football. While we gently introduce the very first fundamentals of the game, we place equal importance on developing your child’s social, emotional and cognitive skills during these crucial early years.

Every session is carefully structured in line with the Early Years Curriculum, focusing on:

• Early football skills

• Turn-taking and sharing

• Building relationships

• Growing confidence and independence

🌟 What Makes Young Lions Special?

Each week, your child joins Larry on an imaginative football adventure. As they reach important milestones in the programme, they’ll earn stickers to celebrate their achievements in Larry’s very own sticker book — building pride and confidence along the way.

Parents are encouraged to lace up their trainers and take an active role in sessions, creating special shared experiences. As the programme progresses, we introduce carefully designed transition games that gently encourage independence — helping children as young as two begin participating confidently on their own.

Every class is packed with fun, engaging and age-appropriate games, all delivered through our proven, structured programme.
